My name is James Reilly

From a young age, I dreamed of being in front of the camera. As a child actor, I had the privilege of working with the BBC on Siblings, with Sky One on Carters Get Rich, and alongside Simon Pegg in the feature film Man Up.

After spending several years on set, my passion for film evolved beyond acting. I went on to study at the University of Portsmouth, earning a BA in Film Production, where I specialised in producing and casting, the perfect blend of creativity, organisation, and people.

In late 2020, I founded Big Red Casting with the goal of expanding my casting portfolio, collaborating with inspiring creatives, and discovering exceptional new talent.

Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with countless actors across a wide range of projects, each bringing something unique and brilliant to the screen.

In 2025, I went on to graduate from the University of Hertfordshire with a Master's Degree in Global Film & Television. I am currently studying a mini-MBA in Television & Streaming Media with the Royal Television Society
